Members of Ladder 35 prepare to enter the South Tower. 20 minutes later, the tower would fall. None of L-35 crew made it out.
Truly look at this picture. A crew walking into doom and not a worried look on their faces. Ready to work, time to be serious, time to do their job. Probie behind the Captain and all the confidence in the world in their abilities.
This is how we should all be when the bell goes off. Honor them by remembering them, learning their stories and passing them on to others
