“They say after unification there will be money to build Taiwan’s infrastructure. Is that funny? Their own number-one city’s infrastructure is already this shabby and half-finished, and they still claim they’ll help Taiwan build infrastructure? Fuck your mother — pure big talk.”

This is the same regime that keeps selling Taiwan the “benefits” of takeover: massive mainland-funded infrastructure upgrades, shared prosperity from China’s rise, economic integration, high-speed development, and the chance to “enjoy the fruits” of the motherland’s construction capacity.
