OpenAI opted out of the Nvidia-led Open AI Alliance today.

OpenAI started as a non-profit aimed at open-source AI, just as its co-founder @elonmusk claimed and just as its name suggests.

And yet, other than releasing GPT-OSS under pressure from the DeepSeek shock, they have transitioned entirely to Closed AI.

Since then, they used Anthropic's demonization strategy as a shield to craft a benevolent image for the public.

However, completely contrary to their mission, they've been lobbying for open weight regulations behind the scenes. They kept raising API prices with every update, slashed usage limits, and basically copied Anthropic step by step.

I'm sorry to share these uncomfortable truths with you, but people need to see through this deception.
