This is absolutely unattainable for me.
I have lived and worked in Japan for over 20 years and my salary has remained stagnant for nearly the entire time. This is the most I've ever earned:
FLAT SALARY: 3,480,000/290,000 monthly
NET PAY: 3,120,000/260,000 monthly
I still have loans to pay on every month back home, losing nearly half in simply converting Yen to Dollars (ie. I have to send 30,000 for it to not even reach $200).
I'm also single, so those dual earning household figures are absolutely meaningless to me.
So, tell me how these changes help anyone but the aging population in Japan. So much of my hard-earned salary is going to them while I am exponentially exploited and thought of as "lesser" in this society.
And for the people who would just clip back like a brain-dead drone "If you don't like it, then go home!" Have you seen the state of things in the States these days? Yeah, because I'm so excited to get exploding diarrhea from salad... You can't drink the water, you can't eat the food... Safe to say it's safer to stay right where I am.
