May 22: former US Ambassador to China and former Senator Max Baucus led a delegation of students from the Baucus Institute at University of Montana to meet with 🇨🇳 Lu Kang (陆慷), Vice Minister of the International Department of the CCP Central Committee, in Beijing.
The Baucus Institute received funding from China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF), a united front group supervised by 🇨🇳 Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, which is directly under the CCP’s United Front Work Department.
Beijing is making sure there’s a continuous stream of China-/CCP-friendly Americans speaking for them in the US.
