A large amount of my X feed includes people from multiple sides of the Twittersphere expressing how they're over X at this point

They were here for something X was uniquely known for that X no longer offers and fails to successfully offer anything new or different

I wonder if @elonmusk even knows there's a personality on X who also apparently works at product/algo development for X, who has conflicts of interest with a cryptocurrency, which seems to influence what changes are made

A person who established a poor relationship with users by rolling out updates that seem to negatively target specific communities, while trolling them for being dissatisfied.

All while people are hesitant to comment on it out of fear of said user targeting them for simple constructive criticism

This isn't normal.
All other successful platforms don't move like this.

This multi billion dollar company is looking more and more like a college student's start up project.
Except this time the college student received a well established platform and is edging it to ruin.

Those same users are going back to platforms they stopped using because at least the experiences there are structured, intentional, and somewhat enjoyable

X will cease to exist if it continues in this direction.

Someone will vibe code an "everything" app and win if X doesn't reestablish themselves as a platform worth being on.

As of right now, people are here in the HOPE it returns to a usable platform, no longer because they actually enjoy using it
