On April 22, 2026, at around 2:00 PM, the flight was delayed because my friend did not board the plane by 1:50 PM.
While I was making a phone call in a slightly loud volume and disturb the person who was sitting beside me. A simple verbal argument occurred, lasting about 1 minute and 55 seconds.
The passenger sitting next to us then started recording a video of us with his phone.
This escalated the situation, turning it into a personal attack on us. At 1:58 PM, the flight attendant came over but did not resolve our complaint in the first instance.
Instead, he began to scold us, criticize us, and escalate the conflict further. In reality, the situation was not serious.
The flight attendant should have comforted us, helped us change seats, and resolved the issue promptly by addressing the problem shown in the video. However, he did not play any positive role. Instead, he kept speaking in English.
As an international flight cabin crew member, when I said I was from China and spoke in Chinese, it caused the flight to be delayed by another 5 minutes.
The police were then called, and the situation escalated. I was taken away for 15 minutes.
In this incident, I realized my own mistake. I should not have argued with others and spoken loudly while making a phone call, which disturbed the other passengers and affected the order on the plane. I should have listened to the flight attendant’s advice and not disturbed the order on the plane.
However, I still received two loud scoldings from the entire incident.
