The free world is currently entering a phase of "de-risking" and gradual "decoupling" from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
The core objective is to stop entrusting critical industries, energy, finance, technological lifelines, and supply chains—as well as national security and global peace—to a totalitarian tyranny that weaponizes all economic relations and persists in committing grave crimes against humanity.
Any act that shatters this consensus could have profound consequences for the global strategic balance.

However, Carney’s trip represents a dangerous challenge to this consensus just as it is being solidified.
Canada’s most vital ally, the United States, is utilizing military, financial, energetic, and diplomatic means to counter the CCP-led network. One of the primary reasons the Venezuelan regime has been able to persist is the CCP’s "lifeline" support through massive oil purchases, financial settlements, and trade backing.

Similarly, the Iranian theocratic tyranny depends on the CCP’s energy procurement and financial systems for its survival.
Under these circumstances, the Canadian top leader’s proactive visit to China is tantamount to opening a window for Beijing at the very moment its allies are attempting to block the transfusion pipelines to the CCP and other rogue regimes.

This not only undermines the strategic coordination between the U.S. and Canada but also creates a rift within the Five Eyes alliance, exposing inconsistencies within the free world.
