Chinese ships are getting bombed just the same.
“China Owner” and “Chinese Crew” is just a joke.
Iran can’t even carry out precise strikes at all.
On the early morning of March 12, the container ship “Source Blessing” (IMO 9243198, approx. 3237-3240 TEU, Chinese-owned, beneficially owned by Hong Kong’s Quanfu company, operated by Cosco Shipping Lines) was struck by an unknown projectile or its fragments about 35 nautical miles (65 km) north of UAE’s Jebel Ali Port near the Strait of Hormuz, causing a fire.
The vessel was broadcasting “China Owner” and other info via AIS at the time, trying to signal Chinese ties to dodge Iran-related attacks, but it still couldn’t escape.
Should they show their Chinese passports?
