Chinese party-state media, including Xinhua, China Daily, CGTN, Global Times, People’s Daily, and China,org have amplified protests organized by groups linked to Neville Roy Singham, a Shanghai-based millionaire widely reported in the US press for pro-CCP astroturfing and far-left activism.

These groups include the ANSWER Coalition, The People’s Forum, CODEPINK, and the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL).

Reports from George Washington University, the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI), and The New York Times have identified a Singham-linked funding network that channels money to far-left organizations promoting narratives aligned with Beijing’s strategic interests. These reports detail how the network exploits US nonprofit laws to ideologically launder messaging and, in some cases, connects to Chinese state propaganda apparatuses.

Singham’s funding of ostensibly independent nonprofits mirrors elements of the CCP’s United Front system, which seeks to cultivate and mobilize non-Party actors abroad to advance Party objectives without requiring formal CCP membership.
