Today I met with DPM and Defence Minister @RichardMarlesMP to mark the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
We spoke about the resilience of the Ukrainian people, the strength of Australia’s support, and the importance of standing firm in defence of freedom and sovereignty.
I was particularly pleased to present the DPM h with a graphic artwork by Sasha Komiakhov — a Ukrainian artist and soldier — depicting the Bushmaster.
The Bushmaster has become a powerful symbol of Australia’s military support for Ukraine and a vehicle that has helped save countless lives on the battlefield.
