"I don't think in my time here, I've ever seen somebody be so disrespectful."
Rep. Pramila Jayapal tells CBS News' @NikolenDC about the moment she asked U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to apologize to survivors of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein during a House hearing about the Justice Department's handling of the Epstein files: "They're devastated and also furious."
Jayapal went on to say Bondi was "so out of line" for her behavior at the combative hearing, during which Democratic members of the House Judiciary Committee accused Bondi of orchestrating a "cover-up" by redacting the identities of many people whose names appeared in the more than 3 million pages of Epstein documents that the department released last month. https://t.co/LB8mI7XdSL
