China’s “Electromagnetic Shield” to Block Starlink
The South China Morning Post recently revealed a Chinese research project suggesting that the PLA could deploy a swarm of drones at an altitude of 20 km to form an “electromagnetic shield” between Starlink satellites and Taiwan, effectively blocking communication signals.
These drones — or alternatively balloons or high-altitude aircraft — would align in the sky to create a dense jamming grid that beams noise down to the ground.
