If you came here illegally, and are getting a drivers license, you must check the box that says I am not a citizen, or decline to answer.
The DMV will not register you to vote if you check either of those two boxes.
If you simply check the box that says you are a citizen, you will be registered to vote.

If you are here illegally, and you want to vote, you simply need to check a box.
