Continuing from yesterday’s thread—

✅ CZ believes that in the future, the market for decentralized exchanges (DEXs) will be far larger than that of centralized exchanges (CEXs). He sees CEXs as merely the stepping stone for Web2 users entering the crypto world, since they resemble the familiar banking system. But once people gain more experience, they’ll set sail into the freer world of DEXs.

— That’s why he thinks the real future lies in chains, which is even forcing him to spend more time on BNB Chain rather than Binance CEX! (No wonder BNB Chain’s progress feels nuclear-powered right now, and no wonder Aster has been going crazy.)

In the future, there’s no doubt that more developers will choose to build on BNB Chain. With CZ personally steering the ship, receiving his attention and mentions provides far more leverage for project growth than on other chains.

✅ CZ also believes that in the future, there won’t be such clear dividing lines between finance sectors — no more “traditional finance,” “Web2,” or “Web3.” Instead, there will just be finance, differentiated by the technologies being used.

Crypto companies will fully merge with traditional financial markets.

✅ He also praised the DAT (Digital Asset Treasury) trend pioneered by Michael Saylor. He admires that someone with the experience, capability, and belief in Bitcoin from the traditional corporate world could step up, innovate, and drive the industry forward. Very impressive.

DAT, whether directly or indirectly, can help the crypto ecosystem grow. That makes it a win-win.
