The operation by Security Service of Ukraine was extremely complex from a logistical standpoint. The SSU first smuggled FPV drones into Russia, followed by mobile wooden buildings later. Eventually, the drones were hidden under the roofs of these buildings, which were already placed on cargo trucks. At the right moment, the roofs of the houses were remotely opened, and the drones took off to strike Russian bombers.
The photos reportedly show how the drones were prepared for the attack on Russian military airfields.
Sources in the SSU emphasize that the individuals involved in this historic operation have returned to Ukraine a long time ago. So, if Russia stages any arrests, it will simply be another performance for domestic propaganda.
