Science, we have a problem.

1) Four &a half years after the pandemic began, origin of the C19 virus remains unknown. It was likely due to an animal spillover involving the wildlife trade or a research-related leak. In sum all avail data is inconclusive. Science has NOT been able to provide a definitive answer. Domain experts have been able to only speculate about weakly supported hypotheses involving the natural descent of a SARS-like bat virus to humans via an illicit wildlife trade into Wuhan where the 1st outbreak occurred. The 2nd leading hypothesis has always been a research-related leak but due to lack of proper oversight never adequately investigated.

2) In direct opposition to the above reality, for nearly as long, Drs. PDaszak, MWorobey, DGorski, ARasmussen, EHolmes &others have told the world in no uncertain terms that a "lab leak" is "dead" "baloney" proffered by "grifters" "liars" & "conspiracy theorists". But that the Worobey-Pekar Market theory is the "ONLY plausible scenario" &"100%" certain to be correct.

3) I'm not a "grifter" "liar" "conspiracy theorist" or "pseudoscientist", but a well trained 30-yr cell &molecular bioscientist concerned about the global public health &like most wants to keep it safe for many generations to follow. It seems disturbingly clear to me that C-19's origin is a) decidedly unknown to science b) not been investigated properly & c) on the whole science has failed to inform us of a,b.
