Major News of US Aid to Ukraine
Both the Senate and House have announced that they are going to a conference committee on the #NDAA. Both Houses passed #UkraineAid in their versions of the DOD authorization bill, although the Senate number was larger.
This means that Ukraine support will be part of the conference agreement after some other differences on other issues are ironed out. While the aid authorization has been delayed, it is now on track for passage.
We should push House members to accept the Senate number in conference. The House conferees were named weeks ago and now the Senate conferees have been appointed. The House members are as follows (only one voted against Ukraine aid on the House floor):
