🚨🇦🇷 MILEI ENDS FORCED UNION FEES FOR WORKERS
President Milei has signed Executive Order #149/25, ending a rule that forced non-union workers to pay union fees, even if they weren’t members.
This practice, dating back to the 1950s, also allowed hidden fees in labor contracts to fund employer groups and training programs—costing workers and businesses millions.
In the commerce sector alone, these mandatory fees totaled $6 million every month, raising costs that were ultimately passed on to consumers through higher prices.
The new order makes all payments to unions and business groups voluntary and blocks labor contracts from sneaking in extra charges.
This will lower costs for businesses, protect workers’ paychecks, and stop unions from taking money without consent.
