A friend borrowed my Tesla with FSD for a week. Here’s how it went:

(Note: She has never been a Tesla enthusiast. She’s a young, hot, bartender who is a lynchpin of the community centered on the country western bar she runs.)

1. She drove 30 min to work on FSD—no interventions.
   
   
2. On her way home, she intervened once when it took the wrong freeway exit.
   
   
3. Next day, both ways no interventions and she realized it didn’t get confused at the problematic exit if it was in the correct lane. So she started just prompting it to move over at the trouble spot.
   
   
4. One day FSD was keeping up with the flow of traffic, but exceeding the speed limit. It didn’t feel dangerous, so she let it continue. It slowed down in advance of a cop at the side of the road, and then accelerated again after passing the speed trap.
   
   
5. She fell in love with FSD. She reports it is “far more comfortable than Waymo.”
   
   
6. She began evangelizing to all her conservative, EV skeptic, regulars.
   
   
7. She is dispelling misconceptions about charging, battery fires, range, cost, etc.
   
   
8. She tells people “this will definitely be my next car.”
   
   
9. She didn’t mention Elon Musk or Trump or any politician or CEO.
   
   (Oh yeah, and she loves auto park!)
