People's Party list-MP Romadon Panjor shared a video showing a detention truck entering the Immigration Detention Center (IDC) in Suan Phlu tonight. He, currently at the center, pointed out that the gate is closed tonight, which is unusual. He urged Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra to clarify the government’s plans for the refugees, especially after her recent visit to China.

Since 2015, around 300 Uyghurs have entered Thailand seeking safety. Of these, 170 women and children were sent to Turkey, and 109 were deported to China. Currently, 48 Uyghur refugees remain in Thailand—43 in detention and five in prison for attempted escapes. There have been complaints about their health, including hunger strikes, and fears of deportation continue.
