After I spoke with the Uyghur man (in white shirt), he says that he and his small group were approached by the Chinese man raising his middle-finger and cursing at them.

The Uyghur man asked why he raised his middle-finger and cursed at them, then gave him a piece of his mind, the Chinese man ran off with his wife continuing to curse and talk nonsense.
