Democracy and freedom share a woman’s name 🗽🇺🇸

Hi, my name is Rodrigo Figueredo, I’m a human rights Artist Activist. I was born in Caracas Venezuela, I knew since a young age what political persecution was when I had to flee my country… I went to study and live in the international Geneva in Switzerland. I also spent a little time in the USA and I’ve been living in exile in Italy for a decade now, so I guess it can be said im a “citizen of the world”. I’ve also been going to Ukraine to help, support, do art and comunícate for freedom.

I’ve been employing my creativity and communication networks management and skills together for years now using my art as a weapon of mass creation. I started painting the actors, symbols and defining images and moments in painting form for the Venezuelan’s cause for democracy and freedom since 2014 (coinciding with Maidan)… through the years I painted for many other peoples, countries, causes and expressions of fights and hopes for life, justice, peace, democracy and freedom for humanity.

This is my humble grain of sand to add to the building to the edifice and I give to you my best with all my heart to support the defence of democracy in the USA 🇺🇸. I don’t vote there but I understand what’s at stake for you and the whole world for the next decades.

For me, this ain’t a question of conflict between right and left, it’s a questions of definition between democracy and autocracy, between right and wrong, between good and evil. This is why I chose to commit and paint @KamalaHarris in one of my “Art for freedom” pieces to… (I’ll say it/conclude in Spanish) para rendir homenaje al símbolo, rol y función histórica que le incumbe a la que será (Dios mediante y We the people) la primera mujer Presidente de los EEUU 🇺🇸
