10 Americans are being held hostage in Gaza.

The youngest American hostage is a 3 year old girl — Avigail Idan.

Avigail’s mother was Israeli. She was shot dead by Palestinian terrorists who entered their home. Her father, an American, was shot dead right outside their home. He was a photographer and left the home earlier that day to photograph what was happening. He ran back when he realized terrorists were going home to home.

Abigail ran towards a neighbor’s house, who described seeing her covered in her father’s blood. He took her in and put her into their family’s safe room with his wife and children as he went out to protect the community from the terrorists. When he returned home, everyone in his safe room was missing — and later discovered as kidnapped and taken to Gaza.
