The fighters of the battle team of the Givati ​​Brigade raided the headquarters of the northern brigade of the terrorist organization Hamas, which is located in the Sheikh Zayed area in the north of the Gaza Strip. The Sheikh Zayed neighborhood is a luxury neighborhood where many senior members of the Hamas organization live. There are Hamas outposts in the neighborhood that are used, among other things, by the terrorist organization's Najaba forces and are located in the heart of the civilian population.

The forces carried out an armored raid on the outpost and located several shafts, including a wide strategic shaft 50 meters deep and 7 meters wide. A scaled-down model simulating an IDF rocket launcher and a wall simulating the border fence in Gaza were also located in the area. In addition, launch complexes including a lathe for the production of rockets, underground pits designed for launching and many weapons were located.

As part of the activity, the fighters eliminated dozens of terrorists in the area. At the end of the operation, the forces destroyed the outpost. In another operation in the same area, Givati ​​fighters located many weapons inside a mosque on a vehicle that was apparently used by terrorists of the terrorist organization Hamas in the murderous massacre carried out on 7.10.
