In a joint operation of the Shin Bet and the IDF tonight in the Balata refugee camp, an aircraft attacked a hideout apartment used by terrorists involved in planning terrorist activity against Israeli citizens and military targets in the immediate range.

Along with the terrorists who were attacked in the activity, Muhammad Zahad, a major terrorist in the city of Nablus, was killed. Zahad was involved in a series of shooting attacks in the area of ​​the city of Nablus and planning military activity.

Among the prominent attacks in which he was involved, is a shooting attack in April 2023 in Jerusalem which resulted in the injury of two Israeli citizens.

In addition, during the activity of the IDF, Shin Bet and MGB forces in the refugee camp in Lata, a laboratory for the production of explosive charges was located and destroyed in the area containing a number of ready-to-use charges.
