Hamas has committed warcrimes attacking Israeli civilians but #Israel cannot simply reply by slaughtering civilians in #Gaza. Gaza is one of the most heavily populated places on earth and has been under siege for 16 years and very badly run down and using heavy bombing in retaliation means massive disproportionate civilian casualties. De facto open prison making civilians so vulnerable. Hamas must also immediately release all hostages which in this context is especially egregious esp kidnapping children. The @IntlCrimCourt must intervene immediately to remind all parties that attacking civilians is a warcrime and if systematic is potentially a crime against humanity. #StopTheSlaughter #PeaceNotWar #EndImpunity #SaveTheChildren (on both sides!) @amnesty @hrw @btselem @YeshDin
