A Southern Right Whale mother and calf have been spotted on Sydney’s northern beaches.
It’s believed the pair are on a journey towards Antarctica, and are taking some much-needed rest in Long Reef.
All watercraft have been told to stay at least 300 metres from the whales, while members of the public are being urged to keep their distance and avoid disturbing them.
