BREAKING NEWS: China announces new military drills around Taiwan, code-named “Just Mission 2025.”
State media reports that live-fire exercises will begin on 12/30, with five restricted sea & air zones surrounding the island. Beijing says they’ll test naval & air force combat readiness and “control of key ports.”
This comes after the U.S. approved over $11 billion worth of weapons and equipment to Taipei. @TaiwanMonitor
