There’s no cell service, yet we had perfect WiFi the entire 2+ hour drive each way which allowed 3 members of my family to do zoom calls and work while we drove there.

This is absolutely true. Banning TikTok is the lowest of low-hanging fruit. It was passed by a bipartisan Congress & approved 9-0 by SCOTUS. That's about as good as you're going to get. If we can't do this against China, what can we do?
