The Founders didn’t want one-size-fits-all government.

They designed a system where states make their own rules, giving Americans the freedom to vote with their feet.

Federalism means California can tax and regulate everything while Texas can do the opposite—and people can choose where to live based on what works.

The Tenth Amendment backs this up, but Washington keeps trying to interfere.

The Supreme Court swings back and forth on state power, but the solution is simple: let states experiment, let people decide, and keep D.C. out of it.
