Tonight’s election results reflect the choice of the American people. Not only did the Republican candidate secure the electoral votes, but they also won a majority in both the House and Senate, and for the first time in 20 years, a Republican has won the popular vote.

Data shows that the vast majority of white voters, regardless of gender, voted for Trump. Black and Latino voters continued to support the Democrats, though support among Black men has decreased. Among other minority groups, over 50% voted for Trump.

American public opinion has shown a strong and official shift.

Perhaps right-wing supporters in Silicon Valley can finally speak openly, no longer needing to hide under the scrutiny of political correctness and colleague prejudice, pretending to comply for fear of losing their job, getting a talking-to from HR, or even being fired. No more pretending to support “woke” culture or the Democrats’ various hypocritical and inefficient equity initiatives.

All stocks are up tonight, except Meta. This is a positive sign. I hope all tech companies in Silicon Valley can learn from tonight’s election and maintain political neutrality.

At the very least, they should hire some mid- to senior-level leaders who can remain neutral and won’t discriminate against employees with right-leaning views. In the American tech industry, perhaps only a few companies can achieve this, such as Tesla or Palantir.

From winning the election, to losing it, to surviving an assassination attempt, to winning again—

Trump is practically a legend, and Musk’s support for him is truly remarkable.

This reminds me of the unfortunate Democrat supporters, like Meta’s Chief Scientist Yann LeCun, who actually said that “inflation has gone down.”

When I asked him why, his answer surprised me: “Because inflation is the first derivative of prices.”

As if, with a PhD, I don’t understand math?

I think tonight he might understand why the Democrats lost votes.

Setting aside Trump’s controversial personality, the Republicans’ return to power in 2025 holds a historical responsibility: one of their tasks is to prevent America from falling into leftist extremism.

I hope that tomorrow, Chinese people working in tech companies will bravely put up a “I support Trump” or “I support the Republican Party” flag on their desk to show their hypocritical left-wing managers.

Not because they’re afraid to stand out or afraid of losing their H1B, or because they’re choosing to lie low based on the so-called life advice of their predecessors.

I may not necessarily support Trump as a person, but the Republican rotation in power with the Democrats is indeed very necessary.
