It is one of the best-preserved mausoleums in ancient Egypt for its colorful murals. The mausoleum is a wonderful architectural work, built in Pharaoh Ramses II reign, for Nefertari (his wife whom he loved the most). Nefertari, the first of the royal wives of Ramesses the Great, who died in 1255 BC, leaving a great void.

The entrance explains why it took so long to discover mausoleum. There is only a small camouflaged door in the sand dunes to enter.
