Wounded Mykola is from Obukhiv, Kyiv region.
He graduated from medical college and dreamed of becoming a rehabilitation therapist.

He went to defend Ukraine and was badly injured near Bakhmut.
When he opened his eyes, he saw that there was nothing left of his leg.
He also got severe craniocerebral contusion.

Then there was evacuation, Mechnikov hospital, several surgeries, and lots of blood transfusions: he is now on medications that support vital functions.

Mykola is slowly recovering.
He managed to be born again.
His wife is by his side.
He began to speak, swallow food, and breathe without a ventilator.
There are thousands of such people in our country.
