Please explain me how this is different from Hitler saying that Jews brought ruin on Germany and declared war on Germany and, therefore, Final Solution is just a retaliation.

Or how it is different from a mediaeval fanatic saying that Jews drink the blood of the babies, and any pogrom is retaliation.

It is the same despicable trick: you invent an imagined grievance in order to perpetrate the worst possible atrocities and still feel yourself good.
